BakeSmart allows for 3 separate production types. These 3 settings let the bakery decide how much detail they need in their production system.

Simple Production with Automatic Inventory Pulls - The bakery enters amount they are making for each batch then click Complete when the batch is done. BakeSmart will have the user confirm the batch quantity and ingredient quantities used and allow transfer to other stores if the bakery has multiple stores and Centralized Production is turned on.

Simple Production with Manual Inventory Pulls - The bakery enters the amount of the product they are making then they mark the batch as Ready to Bake and assign the batch to a user. The user then goes into Run Production, selects the batch and prints formulas or manually logs ingredients as they use them. Once production is finished the user marks the batch as complete. BakeSmart will confirm the quantity produced and allow transfer to other stores if the bakery has multiple stores and Centralized Production is turned on.

Full Production - The bakery enters the quantities to bake, marks batches as Ready to Bake and assigns the batch to a user. When the user goes to run production they are presented with a breakdown of full and partial batches and ingredient quantities for each. The user must Start the batch to begin production and they log ingredient amounts. The user can also log partial quantities as they complete batches. Once all production is completed the user must close the batch. Again, BakeSmart will confirm quantities and allow transfers to other stores the bakery has multiple stores and Centralized Production is turned on.

To set the production type go to Settings > Production and then click the drop down next to the store name.
