Adding Catalog Items in BakeSmart

BakeSmart calls the list of Products you decide to sell online your Catalog Items. Catalog Items are simply items from your Product List that you want to sell in your BSOL Store. Once you’ve decided what products you want to sell, creating your Catalog is simple.
From BakeSmart’s Home Screen click the Menu Bar in the top right corner, then click Lists, then click Products.
Search for the products you want to sell online.
In this example, we will search pastries. And from there we will choose all items under our Subcategory: European Pastry. To choose the products you want to add, simply click the Tag button in the far right column. Then click the Action button in the top toolbar. Then click Create Catalog Items.
Once you confirm this action, you will notice the heading in your top toolbar reads Catalog : List.
To complete the task of adding it to BakeSmart Online, you will work through the Catalog Items one by one. In this example, we will show the process with the Éclair.
Click the box in the Include Online column next to the product you want to add. This will open the Catalog: Detail screen for that product (Éclair).
From here, click the Edit button in the top toolbar and then enter all the different information that you want displayed to your customers for this item. In this example, we add a description, the settings that allow this product to be ordered the same day, add tax when it’s ordered online and finally we add a photo.
After you repeat the above step for all items you want to add to your BakeSmart Online Store, click the edit button in the top toolbar and then click Action then Upload to BSOL.
The BSOL: Data Sync screen is the final screen and step to getting your products loaded into your BSOL Store.
