Privilege Sets

To ease the task of managing user privileges, BakeSmart allows you to setup Privilege Sets and then assign groups of users to that privilege set. This makes the process of setting proper permissions for individual users much more streamlined.

Privileges are broken down into groups of similar permissions.

Clicking on the Privilege Sets button under the Settings category will allow you to define custom privilege sets that can be applied to multiple users across a specific job type.

Example: Administrator, Baker, Cashier, Cashier Supervisor and Production Manager

Configuring Privilege Sets

To create a new Privilege Set click on the “New” button and give the Privilege Set a name. Once the name is defined you can select the privileges that you want to assign to the set.

Apply changes made to a privilege set to all users assigned to that privilege set by clicking the "Update User Privileges" button at the top right of the screen. This will overwrite any changes made to individual user permissions after the user was set to the privilege set.
